What do you need?
18 asparagus.
6 thick slices of cooked ham.
1/2 liter of béchamel.
4 teaspoons of grated parmesan cheese.
Salt to taste.
Pepper to taste.
How to proceed?
Wash the asparagus and remove the woody end.
In a large pot over high heat, bring some salted water to a boil. Cook the asparagus for 10 to 12 minutes until tender (do not overcook them to avoid the risk of the tip breaking)
Remove the asparagus, let it drain completely and cool to room temperature.
Take a slice of ham; spread a little béchamel in the center, place over three asparagus and roll up.
Prepare a baking dish. Spread some béchamel at the bottom; arrange the prepared ham and asparagus rolls.
Cover with the remaining béchamel and grated cheese.
Preheated the oven at 180, bake for 20 minutes until the surface is golden.
