Cauliflower gratin

Serve as a yummy side dish!

Cooking time: 30 mins

Prep time: 20 mins

Ingredients for 4 people

What do you need?


  • 1 medium size head of cauliflower, cut into large florets

  • 500 gr of béchamel (follow link for recipe)

  • 40 gr of parmesan cheese

  • salt to taste

  • nutmeg to taste


How to proceed?


  1. Preheat oven to 180 °C

  2. Bring a large pot of water to a boil.

  3. Clean the cauliflower and cut it into large florets.

  4. Blanch it in hot water for 10 minutes and then drain and dry well .

  5. In the meantime, prepare the béchamel sauce (follow the link for recipe).

  6. Place the cauliflower florets in a large baking dish.

  7. Cover with béchamel sauce and a lot of grated parmesan cheese ( the more you put the better it is).

  8. Bake in the oven for 20 mins or until golden brown.
