This fresh and juicy Mango Salsa is made with easy ingredients: fresh mangoes, red onion, jalapeño, cilantro, and lime. It is surprisingly an explosion of flavor: it’s sweet, savory, and only a little spicy. It can be eaten as a dip with nachos chips or on top of tacos.

What do you need?
3 ripe mangoes peeled and cut into small cubes.
1/4 cup of chopped cilantro, loosely packed.
1/2 cup of diced red onion.
1 jalapenos, diced (seeds removed if you don’t want it spicy).
1 lime, zested and juiced.
1/4 teaspoon of granulated sugar.
Salt to taste.
Chili powder to taste.
How to proceed?
In a serving bowl, add all ingredients. Toss together until combined.
Season to taste with salt. let the salsa rest for 10 to 20 minutes
Serve immediately.
Notes
you can refrigerate any leftover salsa in a sealed container for up to 3 days.
As a variant to this recipe you can add cucumber or red bell pepper as desired.
