A patty or burger is a flattened, usually round, serving of ground meat. Famous in the USA, hamburger patties are found in multiple cuisines throughout the world: Thick or thin, cooked on the grill or stovetop, whichever way you prefer they are always delicous!

What do you need?
600 gr of minced beef meat choosing the grain (thin or coarse) depending on how you like it.
1 tablespoon of bread crumbs
2 tablespoons of ketchup
1 teaspoon of mustard
few drops of Worcestershire sauce
salt to taste
black pepper to taste
How to proceed?
In a large mixing bowl add the ground beef,
Add bread crumbs, salt, pepper, ketchup, mustard and Worcestershire sauce.
Use the hands to mix and combine all the ingredients, until the mixture is very smooth.
Let it rest in the fridge for 30 minutes to allow the flavours to combine.
Put the meat on a working surface. Use a knife to cut and divide the hamburger patty mixture into 6 pieces of 100 gr each.
Use your hands to press firmly into a round shape, and flatten each piece into your desired thickness.
Grill or skillet cook your patties.
NOTES:
Buy the highest quality ground meat you can find. A good hamburger must have a fat part between 15% and 30%.
Hamburger patties shrink a bit in the cooking process: make them slightly larger than the buns they’ll be served on.
Hamburger patties puff up while cooking: press a dent in the center of each patty before cooking.
