Mexican tomato sauce: pico de gallo

Easy to make. With few simple ingredients, you’ll have a fresh, zesty, delicious tomato salsa to enjoy with nachos.

Ingredients for 4 people

What do you need?


  • 250 grams of tomatoes chopped into small cubes.

  • 1/2 onion, chopped.

  • 1 jalapeño or serrano peppers, finely diced.

  • Juice of 1 lime.

  • 15 gr of fresh cilantro leaves finely chopped.

  • Salt to taste.

  • Extra Virgin Olive Oil.


How to proceed?


  1. In A bowl add the tomatoes, onion, cilantro, diced peppers and lime juice. Mix to combine.

  2. Generously season with salt .

  3. Let it rest in the fridge for 15 to 20 minutes.

  4. Serve with nachos.
