In Italy, traditional Christmas dishes differ from a region to another: In some regions, it is celebrated with the “Cenone della Vigilia” the 24th December evening, while in others a lunch on the 25th is a must. For the Christmas Eve dinner, we thought of a classic octopus olives and potatoes salad as a starter. For the first course a delicious pasta with clams to which we have added a touch of taste with bottarga and to finish an easy, simple second dish but of a great effect: the great seafood gratin!
For the Lunch of the 25th a real melting pot! We thought of russian salad as a classic holiday appetizer, a freshly homemade tortellini in brodo as a first dish! And as second the great star coq au vin! from the French tradition, rediscovered by the famous chef Paul Bocuse and loved by Inspector Maigret!
